About
An unmatched institutional network, at the service of your project.
Founder of Obvious Way, Catherine Dubreuil Le Roy has spent 20 years building what money can't buy: a position at the intersection of the private sector, public institutions, and international organisations across the Indian Ocean.
Former President of the French Mauritian Chamber of Commerce — the first woman elected to the position —, she is also a Young Leader 2021 of the French African Foundation and a Board member of the Carrefour des Entrepreneurs de l'Indian Ocean (regional entrepreneur association with 1,400+ members). She has conducted, among others, expert missions for the international organization of the Francophonie (OIF) for the D-CLIC project in Seychelles & Mauritius, Cap Business Océan indien in Kenya for the tech/innovation regional delegation, Economic Development Board Mauritius in Réunion island and for the Indian Ocean Commission (ENFA project, EU-funded).
She co-founded and successfully divested M&S Capital Partners and the marketplace InvestPlace, specialised in business setup and investment advisory in the Indian Ocean. Co-founder of All for Impact, she works to make impact finance accessible across Africa, and formerly served as Director of Development at SOS SAHEL International in Dakar, Senegal.
Trilingual in French, English and German, with a background in banking (Société Générale, BRED), an MBA from Paris Dauphine, and degrees from ESCP Europe and Sciences Po Lyon, she has been based in the Indian ocean since 2011.
